The History of the Fluffball

Happy 2018! Everyone here at the Fluffball hopes your year is getting off to a great start. We're kicking 2018 off with some history about the Fluffball.

The Fluffball Foundation was formed by actress Emmanuelle Vaugier in 2014, however the first event was held at her home in 2009. Emmanuelle's dream and vision didn't stop at hosting a great event, but wanting to take the Fluffball even further by creating a way to raise awareness and funds for many deserving animal rescue organizations across the US.

The organizations the Fluffball has helped out include Best Friends Animal Society, Animal Hope and Wellness, and its current beneficiary, Forgotten Horses Rescue.

In her first event, Emmanuelle raised $6,000. Since then the Fluffball has grown to become an exclusive, invite-only event raising tens of thousands of dollars for its beneficiaries.

The Fluffball has been sponsored by companies like Moet & Chandon, Tito's Handmade Vodka, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Clase Azul Tequila, and many others. The silent and live auctions have also grown to include exclusive items and experiences, with all proceeds benefiting amazing animal rescue charities.

Having worked with larger organizations in the past, Emmanuelle is extremely happy to have worked with a smaller organization, Forgotten Horses Rescue, last year and to continue working with them this year. This way she's able to truly utilize the Fluffball's mission in not only raising money, but also awareness and exposure.

In 2018, we're hoping to raise even more money and awareness for Forgotten Horses Rescue. Make sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for updates on the 2018 event, as well as updates on what FHR is doing!
