Deanna Backos started working with Emmanuelle Vaugier on the Fluffball in 2011, spearheading the public relations and marketing. Soon, she found herself managing and producing the event with the assistance of her marketing agency, the midnight oil group, which she co-owns with fellow Fluffball team member Lauren Maiman.

Deanna enjoys raising awareness for the many deserving animal-rescue groups across the United States, and hopes to continue to build momentum and support for The Fluffball Foundation for many years to come.

In her spare time Deanna enjoys hanging with her pups, Louie and Coco, and hitting the golf course.
